Greetings From the Townehouse!

Just posting my new find in Sudbury. This dive bar is reminiscent of The Wick in London, and perhaps the old El Mo in Toronto. Pretty much every hipster band has played the Town Ho, with all artsy hipster types as the regulars. During the day, all the old bums hang out there.

If they ever invested in some plastic outdoor furniture, that's where I'd reside when I retire!

Anyway, here's a little bit of inside info: If you hang around the Townhouse long enough, you will get your dick wet with no effort at all, gentlemen!

Now, who wants to visit me in Sudbury?!!!!

Postponed!

Fuck travel. We're going tubing!

Our trip is postponed for a day thanks to the shitstorm that was brought upon us. It's been balmy all year in Goddamilton, we figured it'd be a nice, slip-free drive on the way to Crudbury.

So there you have it, folks. Even Mother Nature does not want us to go anywhere. She knows where our home base is at.

Pitchers and catchers reported for Spring Training this week, so Mother Nature wants you to go to your right and vote for YOUR favourite shitty Blue Jay, or she'll suss you out of the trailer park that you're from!

Things To Do Up North #2: Grow A Mullet

I intend to grow my mullet just the same way Butch from, "Teen Mom," has his.

It's goddamn awesome, and one time, I saw him wear it in a braid. God, I can only dream . . .

And Butch says, go to the right and vote for YOUR shitty Blue Jay, or he'll bring the violence to you!

Things To Do While Up North #1: Learn To Play the Theremin

I got a cheap Japanese Theremin for Christmas. Everything in the manuals were all in Japanese! It took all of the holidays just to figure out how to calibrate it. These guys helped me do it, so if you also possess a Gakken Premium Theremin, follow this link:

If you don't know what a goddamn Theremin is, check out this guy, Thomas Grillo, the pornstar of the Theremin:

http://tinyurl.com/ydsuo6g

As of right now, I can only make my instrument sound like a buzzing mosquito. Eventually, I'd like to be able to play pitch perfect songs like Mr. Grillo.

Who knows? Maybe I'll even record an all-Theremin album . . .

Shut up.

Download This! they can chase forever

Disc 2 of the 2-disc set. This full of dance music and remixes which I’ve hoarded over this course in time. Strange moment is the initial beat of the Junior Boys song sounded like the percussive chanting of “Wild Boys!” in the Duran Duran number. As well, if you are in my mailing list, you will receive the full mix, crazy handmade cover with an artist’s crazy rendition of what Yankee Stadium should look like, kind of explaining the title. Again, the title is from the Junior Boys song.

they can chase forever

1. Junior Boys – In the Morning (Hot Chip remix)
2. Justice – Newjack
3. Basement Jaxx – Raindrops
4. Devo – Girl U Want
5. 3OH!3 – Don’t Trust Me
6. Chromeo – Night By Night
7. Dragonette – Pick Up the Phone (Van She remix)
8. The XX – Shelter (Them Jeans remix)
9. Black Kids – I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend
How To Dance With You (Twelves remix)
10. You Say Party! We Say Die! – Laura Palmer’s Prom
11. Duran Duran – Wild Boys
12. French Horn Rebellion – Up All Night (John Bourke remix)
13. Yelle – Qui Est Cette Fille (Foulhouse remix)

I Say Disco, You Say Drunk!

One of the many things we will miss about Hamilton is goddamn "Disco/Punk," night at Absinthe. Located in the anus of downtown, a cramped, dirty basement bar that many people wouldn't be caught dead in, is my favourite place.

DJ Digisnail murdered the dance floor last night! He fucking killed it! His set pretty much had all the choice nugs from my "Chuck U Farley," mix, http://tinyurl.com/yhf47ot
, and by the time he got to play MSTRKRFT, I pretty much lost my voice. That's something special, because I usually save my throat for heckling prima-donna millionaires and the odd bout of tourette's.

This sure beats having one-person dance-offs in my living room. One of the best dance parties I've ever discovered up the street from my house, with like-minded indie-rock kids jam-packed in a little basement!

So hats off to you guys at Absinthe. You guys put on a hell of a drunkfest. I'll miss you.

Pictures in this post were used without permission. Try to find me, fuckers!

And ladies, why the hell bother LOOKING for Mr. Right? Go to Absinthe and FIND Mr. Right Now!
